Soft and easy to make creamy buns


Soft and tasty, they are perfect for a delicious breakfast!



  • 300 ml hot milk (1 1/4 cups)

  • 18 g brewer's yeast

  • 100g (1/2 cup) sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 100 ml (1/2 cup) sunflower oil

  • 800 g (5 1/3 cups) flour

  • 6 g (1 tsp) salt


For the cream:

  • 400 ml milk (1 3/4 cup) 70 g

  • (1/3 cup) sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 8 g (2 tsp.) vanilla sugar

  • 20 g (2 tbsp.) cornstarch

  • 15 g (1 tbsp.) flour

  • 15g (2 tbsp) butter

  • 1 egg yolk


The preparation

  1. in a bowl mix the hot milk, sugar and yeast. Add eggs and sunflower oil and mix again. Then add the flour and salt and mix well to make a paste.

  2. Oil the dough, cover with aluminum foil and leave to rest for 3 hours.

  3. Sprinkle flour on the work surface. Knead the dough, divide it into small pieces and make balls.

  4. Transfer the balls to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Rest for 30 minutes.

  5. In a saucepan, combine the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, cornstarch and sherpa powder and stir until thickened. Finally add the butter and mix well. Press the brioche bread with your hands, put the filling on it and put a sachet of whipped cream on it.

  6. Brush with egg yolk and bake at 200°C/392°F for 30 minutes. Garnish with powdered sugar.
