Ingredients for 6 people:

  • 4 to 6 chicken breasts

  • chicken broth 2/3 cup (190 ml)

  • Boursin cheese with herbs 1 package (4.4 oz)

  • 1 shallot, minced

  • 1 minced garlic clove

  • Juice and zest of half a lemon

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon of flour

  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1 teaspoon dried tarragon

  • Salt and pepper to taste



  1. Take a tablespoon of olive oil, brush the chicken well and season generously with salt and pepper.

  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook both sides of the chicken until no longer pink. 

  3. Add another tablespoon of olive oil and sauté the shallots and garlic with the herbs for 1-2 minutes.

  4. Add the Boursin, broth, lemon juice and zest. Mix together.

  5. Add the flour gradually and mix well until smooth

  6. Simmer the sauce over low heat (5 to 10 minutes)

  7. Add the chicken back, mix and heat for 2-3 minutes.

  8. hot service
